Grants that give back to our community.
Be'er Miriam is a nonprofit that raises funds and awards grants to support our local community. Every gift we receive goes back out to neighbors and people who need it.
Why we exist
According to tradition, a well followed Miriam through the desert and gave the people water wherever they camped.
We take our name from that well. A community is strongest when there is something steady to draw from, so we collect resources from those who can give and put them to work for those who need them.
Our grants are small enough to be fast and local, and meaningful enough to make a real difference to the people who receive them.
How our grants work
We keep the process simple so that time spent on paperwork goes to the work itself.
-
Apply
Send us a short description of your need, your plan, and the amount you are requesting.
-
Review
Our board reads every application and may reach out with questions.
-
Decide
We notify every applicant of our decision, whether or not a grant is awarded.
-
Fund
Approved grants are paid directly, and we ask for a brief update on how the funds were used.
